Music
The Music Ministry at St. James leads the congregation in glorifying Christ through the art of music, providing choir, instrumental and band outlets to enhance the liturgy. Music is integral to the celebration of any liturgical event and through singing together; we become one body in Christ.
Lectors
This ministry is an important part of all liturgical celebrations. Lectors proclaim the Word of God to those attending Mass and other celebrations held at the parish.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic
Assist the priest in distributing the Sacred Body of Christ to the community of St. James during Mass. Volunteers are needed for all Masses and other special events held at the Parish.
Hospitality
The welcoming faces of St. James. They greet the people as they enter, assist them in finding seats, and help them get situated within the assembly, be vigilant to whatever might need attention as the assembly gathers.
Altar Servers
Altar servers assist the priest during Mass and at other liturgical functions held throughout the year.
Art & Environment
Art and Environment Ministry Volunteers decorate the church for the seasons of the Church’s Liturgical Calendar. Sacristy care and altar linens are also part of this ministry. Many talents are needed: sewing, laundering, ironing, display . . .
