Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers Program (VICaP)
A Program of Beatitude Center D.O.A.R. (Developing Older Adult Resources)

What is VICaP Faith in Action? VICaP is a non-profit, interfaith organization that provides free informal support services to homebound elderly and/or disabled adults over the age of 18 and to family caregivers. Volunteers from congregations and the wider community are, trained, supervised, and insured.

What services are provided by VICaP volunteers?

  • Friendly Visits
  • Business help
  • Minor Home Repairs
  • Respite Assistance
  • Friendly Phoning
  • Project Safe Home
  • Computer Assistance
  • Information and Referral
  • Transportation to Medical and Social Service Appointment

Where can I learn more about this program? Visit the Beatitudes Center D.O.A.R. web site or the section of that site dedicated to the VICaP Faith in Action. You can also contact your parish coordinator Hal Pawlowski at 602-810-0147.

Come join other of the St. James Parish Family volunteers that are involved in this critical ministry within the greater Phoenix community.
