Hello, I am Herb Maddock. I accepted the position of Parish Manager effective Nov 15, 2007 and am looking forward to working with and for Fr Robert and all of the Staff, Volunteers and Parishioners at St James Parish Family.

My wife, Dotty, and I have 3 daughters (24, 19, and 18) all of whom have moved out and we are, as my wife says, doing what we can to keep the nest empty. I have lived in the Valley since January 1985 so I have witnessed much of the growth we have experienced in Arizona. I have worked for large and small businesses and for public and private schools as well as having owned my own commercial landscaping business. In addition to my work here, I hope to remain active in my other volunteer service with The Knights of Columbus, Arizona Right to Life, Radio Family Rosary and Arizona Youth Soccer.

Over time I hope to come to know all of the members of St James Family but so far I would say that you are clearly living your motto of “You are a stranger here but once”.
