Saint James Parish provides a booklet as an aid to persons and families in the planning of funeral liturgies. It provides for the gathering of information for the eventual death of a person and for assisting in planning an actual funeral. As such it will greatly aid the survivors at a time when it normally is very difficult to gather such information.

This information is provided for your consideration. When death occurs, the details surrounding the burial of someone you love are both difficult and urgent. You will be expected to make decisions about caskets, cemetery plots and visitation as well as the notification of friends and gathering of relatives. You will also be asked to plan the funeral Mass so that your family and friends may join in prayer and worship.

A member of the parish staff is available to meet with you and to help you with the details. Please call the Parish Office (623-581-0707) as soon as possible to set up this meeting and to receive other assistance.
