| Who are Christ Renews His Parish men & women? We are married, single, widowed and divorced. Some have children some don't. Some are young and some have lots of experience. We come from many different walks of life; each of us with our own story to tell. It's that uniqueness we bring to our St. James Roman Catholic Community that creates the fabric that holds us together in good times as well as bad. Christ Renews His Parish weekends are designed to bring our faith community together; putting us in communion with one another. Most of us come because we want to make new friends and deepen our relationships with God. By sharing our lives past and present in a relaxed, engaging and entertaining atmosphere; grounded in the teachings of Christ, we get to know one another on a level more deeply than is likely to occur under just about any other circumstances. No one completes a weekend without feeling some measure of change due to the experience. Most of us walk away from Christ Renews His Parish weekends with a new freedom and a new life. The result is better relationships with our wives, husbands, children, family, friends and most importantly Christ. We form bonds that grow and flourish through the fellowship forged on our weekend together. And for most of us we find a hunger and purpose to grow and serve at home, at St. James and in our communities, like never before.
