The Most Reverend James S. Rausch, Former Bishop of Phoenix and Parish Namesake regarding Confirmation:
“The spiritual restlessness characteristic of our time may thereby be transformed for Catholics into an ongoing engagement with the Holy Spirit for a life of mission and loving service."

Confirmation Preparation
IMPORTANT NOTE
The procedure for all sacraments as defined by the Diocese is presented on the Diocese web site by clicking here.
What is Confirmation ?
Confirmation is the last of the three Sacraments of Initiation, those sacraments that bring us to full initiation into the Christian life and community of the Church. Confirmation celebrates the gift of the strength and guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Being confirmed is a celebration of your acceptance to follow Jesus and live your life as a Catholic Christian. Confirmation is not a graduation from learning about your faith. It is movement to a new stage of discipleship. Learning and growing in our faith is a life long journey that only deepens our understanding of our mission in the world and the path God wants our lives to take. We invite all who are interested to join the process. There will be many times in the journey for discernment as to whether or not you are ready to receive this sacrament.
Youth Confirmation
YOUTH

Adult Confirmation
Recent surveys have shown that approximately 60 to 70% of active practicing Catholics have never been Confirmed. The reasons are diverse and at times very personal. We, as a diocese and as a parish, have set a goal to offer the process of Confirmation to those adults who are now ready to complete the Sacraments of Initiation. The process will be one of exploring both the Sacrament and our Catholic faith. It will also include the opportunity to form a closer relationship with Jesus and to discern what form discipleship will take in your life. We hope to see you there.
