Please Help with Church Repairs & Updates

Welcome to St. James Parish Family

At St. James, we take being a Parish Family very seriously.

There may be things about our Parish Family that are different from what you expect. There are three things that we would like to think characterize our community:

  • That we are truly a family,
  • That we are welcoming,
  • That we are growing in the practice of Biblical Stewardship.

Being Family means coming together at special times like baptisms, weddings, and sad farewells. It means supporting and "being there" for one another. It means sharing fun times as well as celebration times, learning and working together to accomplish worthwhile goals. To be welcoming is to make our guests feel at home and a part of our Parish Family. It means that we are interested in ways to help you and your family. We strive to make people feel valued and comfortable here. Living Biblical Stewardship means recognizing all that we have comes from God, and that, in gratitude for what God has given us, we choose to share what we have with others. To this end, we are all responsible for becoming involved by giving of time, talent and treasure to the community and others. to reach out and help one another.

Where possible, efforts are made to help those who are physically challenged. From ramps to parking of disabled, the parish family works to make everyone feel welcome. Father Robert Seraph Aliunzi A.J., and the entire staff and family of St. James bid you WELCOME!

We try to live our MISSION STATEMENT:
St. James Parish Family is called to be an open and welcoming Christ-centered community, seeking through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, nourishment of the Eucharist, and grace of the Sacraments, the spiritual growth which moves us beyond ourselves to the service of others.
